Dear Ecko,

Since my wife and I moved to the Parkwoods-Donalda area a few years ago, I took a keen interest in our surrounding housing market along with the listing agents who posted them.

There were a few that stood out in the area for consistently bringing in over-asking prices. One of them was Ecko Jay whose team I met a few times at various open houses. Everyone was always on the ball and responded to all my inquiries with the utmost sense of urgency.

When my wife and I had our first son it was time to look for a home closer to our family so we decided to put our house up for sale. We interviewed a few agents, and Ecko Jay and his team stood out. The afternoon I called Ecko, his team dropped off brochures within hours and Mr Jay himself made time the same evening to take a look at our house.

What I liked about him was when he arrived, he got down to business and laid out a clear strategy of how our house would go on the market. Other agents would talk endlessly about the properties they sold over asking and not really get into specifics as to what they would do for us to maximize our selling price. Ecko Jay openly told us what he’s good at (negotiating) and what his team is good at (keeping him organized..ha!). He made us feel we were in good hands and his team would do whatever possible to make selling our house as easy as possible with a small child.

When offer night came, I saw firsthand what made him a great Agent. His calmness and persistence help negotiate a record breaking offer on our street. Ecko Jay did what he said and his planning ensured we wouldn’t run into surprises. We enjoyed working with him and would recommend him to anyone selling a house.
