How to Pressure Wash Your Patio Cushions
Over time, patio cushions collect dirt, mildew, and stains. A pressure washer can make them look fresh again – if you do it carefully.
What You’ll Need:
– Pressure washer (500–800 PSI)
– Mild detergent or outdoor fabric cleaner
– Soft brush
– Garden hose
– Tarp for drying
Quick Steps:
Make sure the fabric can handle pressure washing. Always test a hidden spot first.
Remove loose dirt and leaves.
Spray stubborn spots with mild detergent and let sit for 5–10 minutes.
Use low pressure and a wide-angle nozzle (40–60°).
Hold the wand 12–18 inches away. Move in smooth passes from top to bottom.
Wash off all soap residue with clean water.
Stand cushions on edge or lay them flat in the sun until fully dry.
With a little care, your cushions will look nearly new and ready for your next backyard get-together!
